Before and After: Westchester Mamaroneck Coastal Home

When I met with the architect and the client of this Mamaroneck waterfront property, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to enhance the beauty of the location by incorporating a sophisticated simple, yet elegant plant palette. We chose to move forward with a purple and white garden that was both full of texture and seasonal interest. We made sure to select plants with varied blooming periods so that we could ensure there was visual interest all year round for the homeowners. The permitting process required submitting a landscape plan that incorporated a native palette, which was exciting and in line with my sustainable design philosophy.
